PopUp for Change inspires teens to work together to create social change.

Over several weeks, teens take over an open urban space, such as a food truck or vacant storefront, and transform it into vibrant PopUp restaurants or boutiques that engage them on an issue that relates to Jewish values of social justice.

Applying the principles of “design thinking," teens will learn how to solve problems by first understanding the needs of the people in the community. This hands-on program will give young people the chance to develop practical skills, connect more deeply with Jewish values, and make real change in the world.

PopUp for Change is a collaboration between the 14th Street Y and Brandeis University High School Programs.
